New Mexico Pharmacy Technician State Requirements – Board of Pharmacy Technician Guidelines states the following requirements for becoming a pharmacy technician:
-Complete New Mexico Pharmacy Technician Registration Application, pay $30 fee
-Within one year of registering as a tech, you must become nationally certified by either PTCB or ExCPT and maintain that certification as long as you are working as a pharmacy tech
-Within one year of registering, 220 hours of on the job training OR board approved training and education is required, complete New Mexico Board of Pharmacy Technician Training Record
