Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician State Requirements- Board of Pharmacy Technician Guidelines states the following requirements for becoming a pharmacy technician:
-Complete a Board approved training program OR 500 hours of work as a pharmacy technician trainee
-Obtain national certification (ie, PTCB or ExCPT) OR pass board approved pharmacy technician exam by employer
-Complete application and pay $150 application fee
