Oregon Pharmacy Technician State Requirements – Board of Pharmacy Technician Guidelines states the following requirements for becoming a pharmacy technician:
-If you are NOT nationally certified already, complete Initial Technician Application, pay $35 fee
 *You must become nationally certified one year after after initial licensure through either PTCB or ICPT
 *You will not be allowed to continue working if your license expires and you have not received your national certification
-If or once you are nationally certified, complete a Certified Pharmacy Technician application, pay $35 fee
